Montgomery, AL ... MELCOOPER Consulting, Inc. has announced that it is investing more capital and resources to meet demand for its specialized training and consulting services aimed at independent retail stores.
The downturn in the U.S. economy has spurred independent retail store owners and managers to focus on proven online retail marketing strategies while reducing expenditures for traditional offline advertising and marketing.
"Store owners and managers that gave little thought to online marketing strategies a year ago are now taking another look at our services", said Mel Cooper, President of MELCOOPER Consulting, Inc. "Most of those stores took baby steps long ago by publishing store websites, but it was only done to 'check off a box'. In fact, most of the sites we've come across are considered 'orphan sites' that have no real focus or function that adds to the store's bottom line."
With the new addition of resources MELCOOPER is now better poised to capitalize on the need for training and affordable consulting services that will see independent retailers through the current retail downturn -- one that is expected to last well into 2009.

we could confidently offer to our customers, we determined that Constant
